How often do we spend our days judging ourselves against what we perceive as other people‘s accomplishments; some fabulous life that we are convinced they have, as if we can’t be happy for them because we aren’t “allowed” all good things?
How often do we wake up excited for some project that we have in our hearts to only to go on social media or hear about someone that is doing something terrific and then that thought comes back “I’m just not good enough“ or “Who do I think I am to deserve abundance, love, peace, joy, respect or anything good?”
In doing daily work, a serious spiritual practice – for me it’s A Course in Miracles and recovery, gratitude lists, meditation, prayer, blessing others for whom I have grievance and forgiving myself. Yoga has also been very important for my healing and recovery.
The sun does not shine any brighter than anyone else than it does on ourselves. So who are you to be fabulous and amazing? Who are you NOT to be?
Try 10 minutes a day: prayer, meditation, journaling, gratitude lists, affirmations and reading a few minutes from the spiritual text of your choice—30 days of these simple practices WILL change you!
